WHEN ONE PERSON RUINS IT FOR THE BUNCH
Nothing irritates me more than when I have to defend myself over mistakes I didn't actually make myself. I'm more than happy to explain my own f*ck-ups and apologize and make it right ... but when I have to explain why I'm not the asshole someone hired before finding out about me ... well ... that bugs the sh*t outta me!
If you are in the wedding industry you may have caught wind of a certain badass wedding planner (whom I adore and is a client of mine!!!) who had her work stolen by a "wedding blog editor" that was posted with ZERO credits and furthermore -
WAS TAKEN WITHOUT PERMISSION
That "wedding blog editor ... realtor ... planner ... fashion blogger" (you'd have to watch the hilarious video posted to understand that title ... hahahaha) person did a big no-no and you know what sucks more than that??? She made other REAL BLOG EDITORS who do their thing correctly look bad too. WTF.
DOES THIS HAPPEN TO YOU?
Do you find yourself having to UNDO what other people in your field do poorly ... to over explain yourself to potential clients who are concerned or have lost trust based on negative experiences they've had ...
OR WORSE!???? ...
work OVERTIME after you've been hired to keep explaining yourself because the people who hired you don't trust you because of their past sh*tty experiences??
One person can ruin it for the bunch and it's not a good time when they do ...
