IF YOU ARE A WEDDING PLANNER DOING THIS ... CUT IT OUT.

I promise, promise, promise I don't have major hate towards wedding planners ... it just happens that this week I have been working with a lot of clients who are having really BAD experiences with a few and they tell me about it ... and then a blog post is born here ... I have mad love for planners ... you know, the ones who have their sh*t together ... haha ... but legit, this needs to stop ... and I thought I already handled this with the blog post I wrote about asking a professional to lower their prices for you ... but I realize that really was about the CLIENT asking ... not so much about planners asking ... however, I did write this blog post about wedding planners educating poorly about pricing to their clients ... but here we are again ... so:

WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS ALL ABOUT:

SEND ME YOUR *BEST* PRICING

First of all, what is 'best pricing' ... is that just a smoother way to say: send me a low price or you won't get the job ?? ... let me back up a bit:  I have had a client on two different occasions with two separate wedding planners in the last month ask my client to send their 'best pricing' for a service.  To me, that's just a 'nicer way' to bully another vendor into lowering their pricing and it needs to stop being a thing.

PRICING IS PRICING. DEAL WITH IT.

We, as professionals, need to stop expecting people to lower their pricing for our clients ... business owners are allowed to price what they feel is justified ... if you, as a wedding planner, don't like it, then don't use them anymore.  It's as simple as that.  Don't try to be 'cute' with your wording by using the term 'best' ... it's offensive and it sounds stupid.

Ok, I think that's it!  Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

XO~ Heather
