More than ever before we are VISUAL CONSUMERS as a people … we decide if things will be good or not by visually deciding if we like:

the branding
the color
the vibe
the layout
the materials
the texture
the photo
the fonts
the options

… we LOOK and we leave … or we LOOK and we stay … and I’m not just talking about websites here.

EVER BEEN TO A RESTAURANT THAT LOOKS SCARY OR DIRTY ON THE OUTSIDE???

Maybe you go in, but are you a bit worried about the food you are about to eat? Maybe you run far far far far away and never return … Just me???

The other day I had a client text me that from their website alone, they were chosen to be referred to by another business in their area who focuses on the same specialty … my client and this person NEVER spoke … not once … it was all based on this other person visiting the website (that I designed …) and from there it was decided.

Having a hard time believing me?? Below is our text string:

This is the stuff I loooooove …. why I do this! I know how important a website is … and I don’t f*ck around!! People are judging you … and harshly! That traffic you see coming to your website is filled with PEOPLE judging … poking around in your business and making decisions before they even speak to you. They are deciding if you are good at what you do or not … fair and accurate??? NO …. but true none the less, unfortunately.
